Islamists' Perception of the Kurdish Problem

In Turkey, when evaluating the "Kurdish Question", an extremely unfair claim and accusation is made that Islamists are insensitive to this problem and even stay close to the official ideology of the state. This claim was emphasized so strongly that it became a common acceptance, almost like a fact. So much so that even Islamist intellectuals and politicians have almost come to apologize on this issue.

In this country, contrary to what some claim, Muslim politicians and intellectuals, more than anyone else, have defended the Kurdish problem, thought about it and produced a solution, despite all kinds of pressure, threats and intimidation efforts... Human rights violations, violence no matter which side, no matter what race, To prevent the children of this nation from being sacrificed regardless of faith and belief, from dividing minds and hearts, if not from lands, from losing the social perception of the Kurdish issue in deadlocks of grudges, hatred and discrimination, from wasting Turkey's future for decades with this problem that is intended to be turned into a blood feud. They gave this nation a clear test before their eyes.

When this work is examined, it will be seen that the numerous diagnoses, determinations and solution proposals put forward on the Kurdish problem, the most realistic and conscientious, but also the most difficult to implement, come from Muslim intellectuals and politicians. It is possible to say that the sense of "fairness" finds its true meaning in this approach that addresses the Kurdish issue with Islamic sensitivity.
