Although ethnic organization activities in Turkey gained momentum in the 60s, the first movements began immediately after the transition to multi-party life, and after 1954, many organizations, mostly Kurdish, were established in the Eastern regions.

Some groups with Marxist-Leninist ideology founded the Kurdish Independence Party in 1958, but were arrested in 1959 on allegations of separatism. Among the 44 defendants, Sevket Turan, Dr. Naci Kutlay, Dr. Koco Elbistan, Yavuz Çamlibel, Dr. There were also names such as Sait Kiziltoprak, Musa Anter, Ziya Serifhanoglu.

Despite the arrests and restrictions after the March 12 Coup, many organizations were established in the region, such as Rizgari, Komal, Revolutionary Democratic Culture Association, Turkish Kurdistan Socialist Party, Tekosin Freedom Path, Değer Kawa, Sirvacilar, but not long after, they also suffered the same fate and were arrested. They were sent to prisons.

The Democratic Patriotic Higher Education Union, which was founded in Ankara in 1974 under the chairmanship of Abdullah Öcalan, started small-scale armed actions under the name Apocular after a while. The organization later took the name Kurdistan Workers' Party (Partiye Karkeren Kurdistan).

So, how was this organization founded, occupied Turkey's agenda and came to this day?

In this book; You will read the establishment and actions of the PKK in detail, and find trial minutes, court documents, defendant-witness statements and confessions of those who escaped from the organization.

Rasit Kisacik; As a very close witness of the organization's establishment and activity process, he conveys the unknowns of this organization, which occupies Turkey's main agenda, along with its documents.
