Miraculous Mandarin
An old and ugly mandarin went to an extraordinarily beautiful, but cold-hearted prostitute for a night of pleasure that he would pay for with money. In the morning, the young woman, taking advantage of the old man to fall asleep, called her robber friends. However, the mandarin, the fox, woke up from his sleep and started to resist and fight with all his might. The bandits were both numerous and competent. They cornered him easily. However, no matter how hard they hit, they saw that no wound was left on this weak, ugly body, and the fatal blows did not leave a mark. They drew their knives and swords, but even the sharpest knife and the most brutal sword could not do anything to the mandarin. Finally they got scared and ran away. The woman who watched the fight was impressed by the miraculous power of the old man and wanted to make love once again, this time in the name of love. He began to caress her with admiration, desire and affection. However, every time the beautiful woman turned, a new wound appeared on the mandarin's body, these were wounds caused by fighting, blows, knives and swords. They remained secret until they received sincere interest and compassion. Finally, the mandarin collapsed in the woman's arms, covered in blood, and died. I told Sergio the story of a ballet I once watched called The Miraculous Mandarin, which was taken from ancient Chinese legends, right after our first lovemaking. For some reason he didn't like what I told him, but this story is one of my favorites.
