Notre - Dame'in Kamburu
"Quasimodo" is actually the name given to the first Sunday after Easter. XX. In 19th century Paris, orphaned babies were left on the bench in the front courtyard of the Notre-Dame Church. High Priest Frollo took the crippled baby he found on such a day under his protection and named him Quasimodo. He raised him and gave him the job of sexton; However, the sound of the bell would cause the golden-hearted Quasimodo to become increasingly deaf. Quasimodo grows up with great love and devotion to Frollo, whom he accepts as his protector. However, the high priest is a person trapped in his dark inner world, writhing in the grip of his uncontrollable hatred.
Quasimodo, whose life consists of bells and the Notre-Dame Church, falls in love with the beautiful gypsy girl Esmeralda at first sight. However, the high priest also has his eyes on Esmeralda. In Esmeralda's world, there is no room for anyone other than Captain Phœbus. What is happening now is a fierce struggle between love and hate, good and evil.
Victor Hugo, in his famous work called The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, in which he weaved the events in detail, also questioned the place of fate in human life and created a magnificent novel that has been a source of inspiration for many works of art, especially movies, since it was written.
The Hunchback of Notre-Dame is also the novel of the city of Paris. Hugo described that period of the city step by step, wall by wall, history by history, in his extraordinarily rich language, causing Paris to steal roles from other characters.
