  • The 3rd issue of Nûbihar Akademi, the first peer-reviewed academic journal in the field of Kurdish Studies in Turkey, has been published.

Nûbihar Akademî magazine, which is the first peer-reviewed academic journal published in Turkey in the field of Kurdology and publishes in Kurdish and English, is excited to appear before the academic circles with its new issue (Issue 3).
Journal editor Assoc. Prof. stated that thanks to Nûbihar Akademî magazine, there is a visible movement among Kurdology researchers and that it is pleasing to observe this. Dr. Abdurrahman Adak said, “Our request from academics working in the field of Kurdish studies is to support Nûbihar Akademî magazine with their strong articles and research. Undoubtedly, the strengthening of Nûbihar Akademî magazine means that Kurdology has also gained strength and a significant distance has been made in the development of this field.”
Adak continued: “We made an innovation in this issue and created a new section in the magazine called “Wergerek/A Translation”. Our aim in this section is to translate important, forgotten and classic writings of Kurdology into Kurdish or English and to re-present them to the attention of the Kurdology world.” he said.
This issue of the journal contains four articles, one translation and one documentation in different fields of Kurdology. Except for the documentation in English, the writings are in Kurmanji Kurdish. One of the Kurdish articles was written in Arabic and the others were written in Latin alphabet. Two of the four articles were written in an interdisciplinary style. One of them is about classical literature and Kurdish culture, and the other is about music and Kurdish history. One of the other articles is in the field of linguistics and the other is in the field of folklore. In the "Translation" section of the magazine, there are two articles about classical Kurdish literature, and in the "documentation" section there are two articles about Kurdish beliefs.
The 3rd issue of the magazine consists of the following articles:
Abdurrahman Adak, “Şêx Muhyedînê Hênî: An Important Representative of the Food Theme in Kurdish Literature”
Nurdan Şarman, “Analysis of Ez Xelef im Song: XIX. "In Pursuit of Century Kurdish History"
Bakir O. Ali-Abdulwahab Kh. Mosa: “Standard Language, Phonology and Orthography”
Necat Keskin-Ramazan Pertev: “A Bibliography of English Publications on Kurdish Folklore”
Martin Hartmann, “About Kurdish Literature-About Melayê Cizîrî” (Translated by Abdullah İncekan)
Mustafa Dehqan, “Mevlana Muhammed Barqel'î's Yazidi Interpretation”
