Free Republican Party

The Free Republic Clause expresses an organized social opposition against the party "in power" in the formation of the political sphere of the republican period. It is a party that is mainly considered as an uprising of the "reactionary masses" in the political party literature and is labeled as the political organization of the traditional conservative line against the implemented modernization project. Cem Emrence deals with SCF's party organization, statute and program, demands and expectations of party members, daily newspapers, class divisions and how these flow into the opposition bed within a party with an in-depth research. Against the facile and marginalizing point of view, it tries to understand the social dynamics of SCF with the economic hardship and social consequences of its importance. It shows how a modernization project, which is accepted as the only one and therefore absolutely correct, besieges the political space against the alternatives it tries to ignore.
