They came from the same race, who knows, maybe they came from the same lineage. They were the same age, the same height. They loved the same woman. Because their ancestors wanted to reach the same god through different paths, one was Bosnian and the other was Croatian. They didn't choose this, just like they didn't choose the war and their fate. And apart from saving the child in the ambulance, they had no expectations for tomorrow.

Tomorrow was bullets, mortars and bombs, blood. But without even realizing it, both of them were waiting for 'better days'. No matter how much people confused it with their different beliefs and ambitions, and no matter how much they infected this wonderful world with blood, pain and violence, after all, life was a hope.
