Âşık Temelî is a Kurd and Alevi who grew up in the chamber culture of the Inner Taurus Mountains, and is also a worker and dissident poet. He is an artist whose songs and anthems were circulated for a while, who did not leave his people alone in their struggle even though he was not very visible, who was aware of his responsibility and a witness of his time.

In Temelî's memoirs, you will find the 68 Generation of Turkey, the Kurdish Movement in Europe after the 70s, many portraits of Kurdish and Turkish intellectuals, and anecdotes that sometimes make you sad and sometimes make you laugh.
