Behind the Scenes of the Social Movement 1918-1922 Public Relations Book Description This study; In order for the people of Anatolia and Thrace to live freely and independently between 1918 and 1922; It reveals the public relations support of the War of Independence against the very variable threat to itself. Public relations in the period between the Armistice of Mudros and the Armistice of Mudanya; By following versatile and purposeful methods, it was implemented by centers of authority such as the Ottoman Governments, the Allied Powers, Local-Regional Congresses and the National-Central Government. By resorting to various methods, from using force to persuasion; They tried to persuade the public and take their side. It is a known fact that it is impossible for any authority to maintain its existence and legitimacy for a long time without public support. The people who started the National Liberation Struggle were under oppression for years, and they only came to the minds of the rulers as human resources to be sent to the fronts. The practices designed for the future of a society exhausted by running from front to front require new sacrifices, troubles and even risking death. During this extraordinary period, the public relations efforts undertaken to rely on the faith and support of the people ultimately resulted in the establishment of a new Turkish State. Who are the people? The importance of public relations, which put an end to the idea of \u200b\u200bthe idea, was clearly seen in this struggle. In the study; Public relations practices aimed at creating public opinion, ensuring the legitimacy of the struggle and the political participation of the public were investigated. The events that developed depending on these practices were based on the documents that constitute the historical fact (Meclis-i Ayan and Mebusan, TBMM Secret and Open Minutes, War History Documents, Representative Committee Minutes and Decisions, İrade-i Milliye and Hâkimiyet-i Milliye and the period of the period). Other Newspapers, Anadolu Agency Bulletins, Speech Documents, Circular Telegrams and Declarations and memoirs) were examined within the framework of historical research methods and based on chronology.
