Prof. Dr. Ötüken's Ömer Seyfettin Collection, prepared by Nazım Hikmet Polat, was created by adding other texts within the same framework to the relevant works, based on the books published by the author during his lifetime. It is possible to think of the stories in the Old Heroes - Solo Efe volume in four groups: 1. Old Heroes series and those that can be included in the same framework, 2. Solo Efe texts, 3. Those arising from gang pursuit in the Balkan geography, 4. Observations and observations of the trip to the front during the Gallipoli War. Written with their impressions. With these stories, Ömer Seyfettin fulfilled a responsibility placed on his shoulders by the socially utilitarian understanding of art and his era.
